AKISA informs that on 23 July 2025, an ultralight aircraft was involved in a fatal accident in the Azzano Mella area, in northern Italy. The accident resulted in loss of life and damage to road infrastructure.

The relevant Italian authority (ANSV) has initiated an investigation in accordance with the international standards established in ICAO Annex 13. AKISA is in contact with the Italian authorities and is monitoring developments in real time, remaining ready to participate should its involvement as an observer be requested.

The public will be informed promptly and officially of any further developments.
